Background:
FHIR is regarded as a leading draft standard in healthcare today. It uses logical and theoretical models to make data exchange between healthcare applications consistent, easy to implement, and rigorous. Currently, the largest digital health innovation projects in the US uses FHIR (Cerner, Epic).
Objectives:
At the end of the two-day FHIR workshop, the participants should be able to:
- Define the information that will be exchanged through FHIR;
- Discuss the process of information exchange through FHIR;
- Discuss how terminologies will be used in FHIR;
- Set-up a FHIR server; and
- Explain how information will be secured in FHIR.

WORKSHOP FEE
The registration fee for the workshop is P3,000.00 per participant. The fee covers for the workshop kit, lunch, and snacks for two days. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided by the organizers.
NOTE: SIL-ASIA WILL ONLY ISSUE ACKNOWLEDGMENT RECEIPTS (NO OFFICIAL RECEIPTS WILL BE GIVEN)
WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
1. Complete this required RSVP form and click ‘submit’
2. Please pay a registration fee of PHP 3,000/person through your preferred mode of payment as indicated in the form (options: onsite payment, bank deposit, check). For those who have indicated bank deposit and check as their payment options, we will send our bank account details directly to your email.
3. For those who will pay onsite, send an email of confirmation to sil-asia@aehin.net on or before August 20, 2018.
For bank deposit, please send a scanned copy of your deposit slip to sil-asia@aehin.net on or before August 22, 2018. For check payment, please surrender the issued check to Kristin Pascual of SIL-Asia in UP Diliman on or before August 24, 2018.
4. We will send you a ticket confirmation code once your payment is verified (for bank deposit and check), or once your email of confirmation is received (for onsite payment). We encourage you to secure your slots earlier. The venue can only accommodate a minimum number of trainees.
